When
you are going to use the Internet, you will most definitely
visit some web sites. The browser such as Internet Explorer,
by default it will store information that you have seen
from that web site on your computer. Images, Animations,
Audio and even cookies are stored locally. These files
are called "Temporary Internet Files". It is
recommended cleaning your cache memory at least 1 time
a week. The "Temporary Internet Files" folder
can contain some interesting information and preferences...
For
example... Say you visit a web site which requires you
to log in...most log in details such as the username and
password are saved in a file called a cookie....this cookie
is saved onto your computer in your "Temporary Internet
Files" folder. Lets say that a hacker managed to
crack the cookie code and is able to view your log on
details. Anyway, there are many things a person can know
about yourself by just having a look into the "Temporary
Internet Files" folder. Therefore it is useful to
clean this once in a while...
This
tutorial will explain you how to clear the Temporary Internet
Files, The History Files and the Cookies...mmmmmm...
Click
on "Start" - "Settings"
- "Control Panel" .

The
"Internet Options" box appears. In the middle
it says "Temporary Internet Files".

ok...the
box has disappeared...now lets press on "Delete
Files". A little box will come up asking
to confirm. Switch on the option called "Delete
all offline content" and press "OK".

The
Temporary Internet Files folder should now be empty...

History file. If you want to clear the History file..you
can click on "Delete History"
