The below guide will explain how to step by step install the BT ADSL USB kit.

1. Insert the CD into your CD drive and wait patiently until the below screen appears. If if does not, then go to double click "My Computer" and double click "CD drive". Click on "Instalar Modem ADSL".

2. The below screen will appear. Select "Install the DSL Device" and press "Next". Please make sure that you do NOT have the ADSL USB kit already connected to the computer. It will ask you when to do so.

3. Select your provider. You normally will only see "Arrakis-BT". Type in a desired connection name if you want. For example "Gonuts4free BT-ADSL" or "My Spanish ADSL connection", then press "Next".

4. Excellent. You are now ready to start installing. Press "Next".

5. Wait patiently as the software is being installed. You will notice that it will install, configure and test the drivers automatically for you. (see below screen).

6. You may get messages appearing such as files being transferred from the CD-Drive and the basic Windows Software Installation verification for the drivers. Just relax and press "Continue Anyway".

7. After a few minutes a screen will appear asking you to plug in your USB modem.

8. Plug it into one of the USB ports on either the back or front for the pc. Once you have done this, the screen will dissapear automatically. You will have a little window pop up in the bottom right hand side of your computer informing you that new hardware has been detected. Again, wait patiently untill it fully dissapears. The installation screen from before will appear automatically. This may take a few minutes.

9. As soon as the drivers are installed, the main installation screen will appear again and will ask you if you would like to restart your computer. Press "Restart Now" or wait 15 seconds to do so automatically. If you need to save and close any other programs first, press "Cancel" and restart the computer manually by going to "Start" - "Shutdown".

10. Once your computer is fully restarted. You will be presented with 2 new icons on your desktop as shown below.

11. If you double click the first icon called "Arrakis Vigor318 DSL", it will present you with the below screen.

12. Normally, you do not need to type in a username and password. You can leave this blank and just press the "Dial" button. Should you wish to use your username and password, then type in the below information:

Username: arkadsl(yourphonenumber)@arrakis.es (for example: arkadsl952334422@arrakis.es)
Password: your phone number (for example: 952334422)

13. Thats it. You should now be setup to use the BT ADSL service using Gonuts4free as support provider. You can check your ADSL status by opening the other icon on your desktop called Vigor318 Control Panel. All information should be presented in English.
