Following our terms and conditions, for security and spam reasons, we do not allow our smtp to be used with an emails address of a domain name which is not residing on our servers. This is to ensure security and to prevent spammers abuse our systems. This guide will explain you on how to help you setup in a proper way a mail application that will allow you to send emails via your own email address. As sample mail program we have used Outlook Express.

1. First things first. Make sure you are connected with the Gonuts4free Free Internet connection either in Spain or the United Kingdom. Below are the links to obtain the setup details again:

2. Next. Download the Argosoft Mail utility by clicking the below link:

3. Once you have downloaded the utility, double click it and and follow setup instructions.

4. When the installation is finished, you will have a little icon on your screen as shown in the below image. Double click to open it.

5. Once you have double clicked the icon, a little thumbnail icon will appear on the bottom right hand side next to the click. It looks like a little blue icon. You need to right click on top of it and left click on "options"

6. Great. A window will appear now. The first thing to do is to press the red icon for the dns server. If you are connected to the internet, it will detected it automatically and inform you which dns server it is going to use. Just press "Yes". Once done, make sure you the tickboxes activated or disactivated as shown in the below image.

7. Good, press "ok". A message may appear telling you that you need to restart the relay server in order that the changes take effect. We will do this later. Right click the little thumbnail icon again at the bottom next to the clock and select "Users".

9. The below window will appear. Click on the little "New" icon.

10. The Add New User window will appear. Here you need to type in personal information regarding your existing email address. We have completed the form below to give you an example. Please note that it is very important that you specify your correct forward address and return address. All the other data is irrelevant and you will be able to type in anything you want.

11. Press "OK". You will now see a little user added to your users menu. You can close this window now.

12. Good. Your mail utility is now ready. Lets stop and start the mail utility service now so that all changes done to the settings take effect. Do the following:

Right click on top of the little thumbnail icon again and press "Stop". (its the red icon). Once done, right click the thumbnail icon again and press "Start". Thats it. See screenshot below for some details:

13. Excellent. Now, for the final touch, you need to change your smtp server in your email program and change it to "localhost". For example, in Outlook Express, go to "Tools" - "Accounts" - "Properties" - "Servers". In the outgoing mail server, change it to "localhost".

14. Press "ok", close the internet accounts box and you a ready to send email from your own email address. As simple as that.
