How to setup Gonuts4free using Windows Vista
 

You can follow these easy, step-by-step instructions to manually set up a dial-up connection.

To create a new Dial-Up Connection in Windows Vista, follow the steps below:

1. Click on Start.

2. Access the Control Panel

... via Start Menu View ... via Classic View
A. Click on Start, then select the Control Panel B. Click on Start - Settings - Control Panel

3. Click on Classic View if it's available.

4. Double-click  Network and Sharing Center. Click on Set up a connection or network.


5. Select ... then click on Next.

Connect to the Internet Set up a dial-up connection
A. Continue on to step 7 B. Continue on to step 8

6. Click on Dial-up

8. In this window enter in the following;
  1. In the Dial-up phone number field, type in your local dial which is 901929200
  2. In the User name field, type in 456@free
  3. In the Password field, type the password which is 123456
  4. In the Connection name field, type in a name you wish to give your connection.

9. If you get this window, you have successfully connected to the Internet. Click on Close. If this window did not appear either (1) the username or password was entered in wrong, or (2) there is something wrong with the connection to the Internet.

10. Click on Home - a Security window may appear, click to continue.

11. Click Close.

11. Click on "Browse the Internet" now.

12. Try to connect and see if it works. If you are not able to navigate, then we will need to enter the DNS settings for the connection. This is what you have to do. Go to the "Control Panel" under the "Windows Start button". Make sure you are in classic view and click on "Internet Options".

13. Click on the "Connections" Tab on the top.

14. Click on "Settings". You can check in the meantime to see if you have a tick in the box called "Always dial my default connection." If not, place a tick in the box and then press "Settings".

15. Click on "Properties" & then click on "Networking" on the top.

16. Select "TCP/IP4" so that its highlighted and then click on "Properties".

17. Place a tick in the box called "Use the following DNS server addresses" and leave all the other options as they are. Now type in the numbers as shown in the below image. They should be as follows:

Preferred DNS: 80.58.0.33
Alternate DNS: 80.58.32.97

Press "OK" and "OK" again. Keep pressing "OK" untill all the windows close.

Try the connection again now and see if it works.
